Strategic planning and communication in change management, while pivotal, are often riddled with complexities. The intricacy arises primarily due to the need to remain comprehensive, objective, and inclusive, given the myriad of stakeholders and factors in play. Balancing diverse opinions, interests, and concerns can be overwhelming, potentially leading to gaps in understanding and decision-making. To bridge this divide, this article introduces the Stakeholder-Value chain/network Matrix/map (SVM) framework—a comprehensive tool designed to seamlessly blend strategic communication with decisive action. By embedding core principles of effective communication and modeling, SVM offers a structured approach to information dissemination. It systematically breaks down information into four essential components: (1) WHEN, which captures the temporal context; (2) WHERE–WHO, pinpointing relevant stakeholders; (3) WHAT–WHY, detailing the value proposition and rationale; and (4) HOW, outlining the problem and suggesting solutions. The objective is clear: to provide clarity and direction in the chaotic world of change management. This article not only unveils the SVM’s conceptual underpinnings but also delves into its practical utility, positioning SVM as a novel analytical and strategic tool in the realm of change management.-
