Abstract

Chapter 6 analyzes educational gap and suggests responsive measures. The study is on the fence about the conclusion that despite the fact that the phenomenon of worsening educational gap is witnessed, it is not safe to say that it is the income gap that has degraded the gap of educational performance or social mobility. Nevertheless, in order to prevent educational gap being worsened further, the study suggests that it is necessary to reduce the number of curriculum and then invent various education modules so that the public education system could absorb various education demands, which will help equalize educational opportunities. It also finds it necessary to expand the budget for public education system.
